Haruki Nishimura, MD, PhD has over 10 years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon after graduating from the University of Occupational and Environmental Health in Japan. He is also specialized in sports medicine and supported many athletes. He earned his PhD in 2021, studying musculoskeletal pain and bone metabolism. Dr. Nishimura joined SPRI in September of 2021 as an international research scholar and works on bone and cartilage regeneration research using senolytics on mesenchymal stem cells and biomaterials.
